Pickled Plums
Ingredients
Ripe Plums
Half Pint Vinegar
1 - 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Large Stick Cinnamon
10 Cloves (tied a muslin bag).

Method
To every lb. Firm, ripe plums, you will need half pint vinegar, 1 - 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 large stick cinnamon and 10 cloves (tied a muslin bag). Prick the plums with a steel needle. Put into a bowl. Boil the all other ingredients for 5 minutes. Pour over the plums and soak for 24 hours. Next day,turn into a preserving pan and boil for 5 minutes. Pour into hot jars (removing from spice bag) and seal at once.
