Pickled Onions

Ingredients
Small White Onions
Brine
Spiced Vinegar
1 tblspn. Sugar to Every Pint Vinegar
Method
Use only small, white onions. Peel, cover with water and leave for 24 hours. Wash and put into brine for 3 - 4 days. Wash well, drain and pack into jars. Fill jars to overflowing with hot, spiced vinegar. (Add 1 tblspn. Sugar to every pint vinegar). Seal immediately.
