Topping for Scones

1/2 Cup Flour
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
2 tblspns. Butter
1 tspn. Cinnamon
1 tblspn. Orange Juice
1 tspn. Orange Rind (Grated)
1/2 Cup Chopped Cherries
Halve the cherries and chop the almonds. Sieve the dry ingredients together. Rub in the butter and add the orange rind, orange juice, chopped cherries and almonds. Sprinkle this mixture over the dough and press well down. Bake at 400o F for 25 - 30 minutes, or until done. Cut into squares. Serve hot for lunch, tea or breakfast.
