Coconut Topping with Butter Brown Sugar

1 Cup Coconut
3 oz. Butter
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
Melt the butter and mix in the sugar and coconut. Blend well and smooth evenly over cake. Place under the grill for a few minutes to brown slightly. Do not allow to burn. Decorate with a fork in a trellis pattern while still hot, and dot with cherries
