Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
3 Medium Sized Carrots
3 Medium Sized Onions
1 Medium Sized Potato
1 Medium Sized Brinjal
1 Cup Green Peas
1 Cup Red Lentils
1 Cup Cooked Butter Beans
OR
1 Cup Red Lentils
! Cup Baked Beans
1/4 lb Mushroom
1 Small Clove Garlic
OR
Sprinkle of Garlic Salt
Sprinkle of White Pepper
2 Tablespoons Tomato Puree
Salt to Taste

1/4 lb Mushroom
1 Small Clove Garlic

2 Tablespoons Tomato Puree

Method
Brown Onions and carrots. Cut up mushrooms and brinjal. Add water and all the rest of the ingredients. Bring to boil then allow to simmer until cooked. Shortly before serving thicken with 1/2 cup gram(chana) flour or ordinary flour mixed with a tsp. Bisto. Cooking time 1 hour or 1/2 hr. in pressure cooker. When cooked add 1 tblspn. Chopped green pepper and 1 tblspn. Chopped parsley.
