Pea and Barley Soup

Ingredients
3/4 lb. Green Peas Dried
3 oz. Barley
6 Pints Water
2 Leeks Carrots
Salt
2 Leeks
1 Celery Roots
3 Celery Stalks
2 oz. Butter
1/2 lb. Potatoes.
Method
Wash and soak barley and peas. Boil for 1-1/2 hours in water and salt. Cut up other ingredients. Put them in and boil for another 30 minutes. Then add butter.
