Rice and Banana Salad
Ingredients
2 Cups Rice
1 dssrtspn. Curry Powder
6 Bananas
1 Pineapple
2 tblspn. Butter
2 Cups Water Boiling
Salad Dressing

Method
Wash rice well, and dry in a cloth. Melt butter in a pan, add curry powder and the rice. Saute for 5 minutes, add water, boiling, and cook gently till the rice is cooked. (If water has been absorbed before rice is cooked, add a little more boiling water). Peel bananas, and cut each into halves, lengthwise, and cut in half again. Saute lightly in 1 tblspn. Butter. Pare pineapple and dice. Arrange alternate layers of rice, bananas, pineapple and mayonnaise or dressing until all has been used. Cool and serve.
