Baked Vegetable Sandwich
Ingredients
2 Cups Flour
4 tspn. Baking Powder
Salt
3 tblspn. Butter
1/2 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Grated Raw Carrots
2 tblspn. Chopped Parsley
1 tblspn. Chopped Onion
2/3 Cup Milk
2 Cups Flour

Method
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Rub in butter and mix in carrots and parsley. Mix to dough with milk. Knead lightly. Divide in two. Roll out thinly and cut into 4 inch squares. Cut a little cross in the middle of half the squares. Put savoury dried beans or soy beans or lentils in the middle of the uncut squares. Moisten with cold water round the edges and press the cut squares on top. Bake in 400o F. oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
