Ginger and Peach Dessert

Ingredients
Large Ripe Yellow Peaches
Preserved Ginger and Syrup
Sweetened Whipped Cream
Finely Chopped Nuts
Ice Cream
Method
Halve the peaches, peel them and remove the stones. Spread a little ginger syrup over the bottom of a shallow baking dish, and place the peaches in the dish, hollow side uppermost. Place a little ginger syrup in the centre of each peach and bake at 350o F for 20 mins. Remove and allow the peaches to get cold. Fill the centre of each peach with ice cream and garnish with chopped ginger and chopped nuts, and decorate the whole with roses of whipped cream.
