Steamed Milkless Date Pudding

3 Cups Flour
1-1/2 Cups Sugar
1 lb. Stoned Chopped Dates
Pinch Salt
1/2 tspn. Cinnamon
2 tspns. Bi-Carb. Dissolved in 3/4 cups cold Water
2 tblspns. Butter Melted in 1/2 cup Boiling Water.
Sift flour, salt and cinnamon . Add sugar and dates.Make a well in the middle and add the butter/water mixture. Lastly add the Bi-Carb. Water. Steam in a well greased mould for 3 hours . Serve with custard.
