Sweetened Apple Puree
Chopped Almonds
Slice of Thin Bread and bUtter
1/2 Cup Smooth Apricot Jam
Well butter a pie dish. Line it, side and bottom, with thin triangles of white bread and butter, pressing the triangles down gently into the butter. Put in some sweetened apple puree, then cover the top with little squares of bread and butter, butter side uppermost. Warm the jam ti thin it, then spread it over the top of the little square. Sprinkle with chopped almonds and add some little dabs of butter. Brown lightly in a moderately hot oven - 350o F.
