Pumpkin Scones
Ingredients
2 Large Cups Flour
1/4 tspn Salt
1 Teacup Sugar
3 tblspns. Butter
1 Dssrtspn. Baking Powder
1 Teacup Cooked
Strained Pumpkin
2 Large Cups Flour
1/4 tspn Salt
1 Teacup Sugar

Method
Cream butter and sugar together. Add pumpkin then add flour, salt and baking powder sifted with the flour. After mixing, a little water or milk may be added; the mixture must not be too stiff. First flour the palm of your hand, then take a tablespoonful of the mixture and roll that way. Do not roll out on a board. Place scones close together in a tin. Bake for 20 minutes in a moderate oven.
