Eggless-Milkless Cake

1 Cup Seedless Raisins
1 Cup Yellow Sugar
1/3 Cup Butter
1 Cup water
1/3 tspn Nutmeg
1tspn. Cinnamon
1tspn. Ginger.
Boil all together for 3 minutes.Cool and stir in the Bi-carb. Mixed with a little hot water. Mix in 2 cups flour sifted with 1/2 tspn. Baking powder and pinch salt. Mix thorouly. Bake in a slow oven for 1 hour.
