Buttermilk Rusks

2-1/2 lbs. Flour
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Butter
1 pkt Cream of Tartar
1/2 pkt. Bi-Carb.
1 Pinch Salt
2 Pints Buttermilk
Rub butter into sifted dry ingredients and mix with butter milk. Pat out and form like scones. Bake in warm oven for 15 minutes. When cold, break open and dry out.
