Tomato Puree

Ingredients
1 lb. Ripe Tomatoes
1 Onion
1 tspn Sugar
1 tblspn. Butter
1/4 tspn. Mixed Spice
Method
Skin and slice tomatoes, and cook gently in pan with butter. Grate onions and squeeze the juice into pan, add sugar and spice and season to taste. Cook until thick and almost dry.
